About Me
I grew up in a fishing town in Maine. From a young age I became enthralled with the workings and operation of the derelict tractors and trucks that I was surrounded by. I learned to appreciate the design and passion that went into these everyday tools and the joy they could bring. From there my intrigue moved on to cars, boats, planes, and anything that could deliver the excitement of moving from one place to another. I started getting my pilots license and joined a rally team as a mechanic and fabricator designing and remaking components for our Saab 900 as they broke. During covid I started building my own race car from a VW GTI and became first mate on a 54 foot sailing boat doing high latitude research in the northern hemisphere. I'm currently a fourth year student at Olin College of Engineering looking to find work that allows me to use my skills and interests in mechanical design, industrial design, and fluid dynamics to bring the same feelings of joy I've experienced to as many people as I can.
