8/18/26: A day In Nain

Today we had the whole day to explore Nain. In the morning Jennifer and I went to do the laundry and connect to real internet while everyone else moved the reefing lines up one point on the main; once we each finished our tasks respectively, we all got set loose. I tried in vain again to get the boat to myself for a deep cleaning, so I gave up and went for a longer walk around the town, which was lovely but lacked much of anything other than houses and grocery stores to explore, for the art studio was closed and so was the museum. We had dinner and then went to the bar where I watched two pool sharks duke it out before deciding the level of pool being played was above mine and retreating to bed.
